Ingredients of Date Cake 


  • 3 cups pitted dates
  • 2 teaspoon baking pop
  • 10 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon green cardamom
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 2 cup water
  • 3 cups caster sugar
  • 5 cups regular baking flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


Instruction:

  •  Clean the dates by washing them and removing the seeds. You can also use pitted dates.
  •  Boil the dates Add dates, water, and one teaspoon of baking powder to a heavy-bottomed pot. Bring to a boil for one minute, then simmer for five more minutes. Allow the dates to cool completely after taking them off the heat.
  • Combine the dates and sugar In a mixer, combine the dates. Now add the sugar and mix slowly until the dates and sugar are well combined. Now, gradually add oil in small batches.
  •  Add the eggs to the mixture by whisking them together in a separate bowl and straining them through a conical strainer. Eggs should now be added to the date mixture. After the eggs are thoroughly incorporated, blend once more, and then add the dry ingredients.
  •  Fold the ingredients In a large bowl, and transfer the mixture from the grinder. Add the warm milk at the end after sifting the flour, baking soda, and other spices into the date mixture.
  •  Bake the cake Place one pound of the mixture in a small 8 x 4-inch baking pan that has been greased and lined with baking paper. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes in an oven that has been preheated to 160 C – 320°F.
  • Ready to serve After the cake has baked, remove it from the tray and let it cool down a little. Slice into pieces, top with whatever topping you like, and serve.
