Kashmiri chai is a traditional chai from Kashmir Valley that contains milk, salt, baking soda, and green tea. The creamy flavor is not the only thing that makes it unique, but also the lovely pink color. 

In Kashmiri Chai, green tea leaves are used, which contain caffeine, so there is no doubt that Kashmiri Chai also contains caffeine! The caffeine content of green tea can range from 30 to 50 mg.




Kashmiri chai Ingredients:


Fresh milk ½ litre

Sweet soda 1 pinch

4 Green cardamoms 

4 cups water

Almond; pistachio(chopped) 50 grams

Green tea leaves 1 tbsp

Sugar to taste

Method:


Cook water, tea, and cardamoms on low flame till half the water remains.

Add soda and thoroughly whip: boil milk in a pot.

Add strained kehwa and pour into cups.

Add almonds and pistachios and serve.
