Carrot Halwa | Gajar ka halwa recipe

carrot Halwa

Easy to make, this Carrot Halwa recipe, flavored with cardamom, with a crunchy side (cashew, pistachios) is a delight that will surprise your guests! It can be eaten both hot and cold (I have a slight preference for the cold version, the next day, I think it's even better!). Test, and tell me in the comments if you liked the Halwa recipe for all!

Ingredients of carrot Halwa:

500g carrots

50g butter

150g sweetened condensed milk

5 cardamom pods

1 handful of raisins

Recipe steps:

Peel the carrots, and blend them finely.

Melt the butter in a large saucepan, then add the cardamom seeds.

Then add cashews, crushed pistachios, and raisins. Let the butter brown a little.

Add the carrots, then the condensed milk, stir well, cover, and let stew for 20 to 30 minutes over medium heat, covered.

Serve (it's better to warm or cold), sprinkled with walnuts, pistachios, and raisins.
