  •  banana 1 large, 
  • 3/4 cup chilled milk, 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, or sugar to taste, 
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, optional

Banana shake step by step:


  • Take a banana. Slice it with a peeler. Cardamom powder adds a nice flavor and vanilla ice cream is added to this recipe to make the milkshake creamy.
  • In the large jar of a mixer grinder or blender, add sliced bananas.
  • Cardamom powder can be added. This is a non-essential component. Skip it if it is not readily available.
  • Add one teaspoon of sugar.
  • Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream and 3/4 cup of milk.
  • Blend the mixture until it is smooth. If the mixture appears thin, add an additional half banana and blend once more. If the mixture appears too thick, add more milk and blend once more to thin it out. The banana ice cream milkshake is ready. Serve right away by pouring it into a serving glass.

  • Add more or less sugar to your liking.
  • Vanilla ice cream and no sugar are healthy additions.
  • 30 minutes before making the shake, add two to three strands of saffron to milk. This will result in a milkshake that is saffron colored and has a very delicious aroma that goes well with the flavor of cardamom.
